I first learned the power of food from my grandmother — a gardener, home cook, restaurateur, and prayerful woman. Much of my formative years were spent beside her (and my grandpa) in the garden and kitchen — planting, harvesting, and preparing the living foods of our cultural heritage.

Butter beans. Sweet potatoes. Turnip greens.
From those early years, I learned that thriving is part of our design — and being engaged with living food helps the body remember what it already knows.
